Lane, Ramp Closures Mark Weekend Road Construction: MDOT

METRO DETROIT, MI — Numerous lane closures on I-696 and I-75 in Oakland County are among the headaches drivers will face this weekend, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation. Here’s a rundown of projects for Oct. 6-9:

I-275

• Wayne - NB I-275 at Pennsylvania, right lane closed, two open, Monday 9 am-1 pm.

I-696

• Oakland – Evergreen ramp to WB I-696, ramp closed, 9 pm Thursday - 5 am Saturday.
• Oakland - WB I-696 ramp to M-10/US-24, ramp closed, overnight 9 pm- 5 am, Thursday-Friday.
• Oakland - WB I-696, Evergreen to Lahser, complete closures in 15 minute periods, Friday 11 pm-Saturday 4 am.
• Macomb – EB/WB I-696 service drive, Lahser to Dequindre, one lane open, left lane closed overnight, Monday through Friday, 9 pm-5 am.
• Oakland - EB 696, Woodward to Campbell/Hilton, left lane closed, three open, Fri 9 am-9 pm.
• Oakland - WB I-696, Evergreen to Lahser, two right lanes closed, two open, overnight Monday through Wednesday, 9 pm-5 am.
• Oakland – Evergreen ramp to WB I-696, ramp closed, overnight Monday-Tuesday, 9 pm -5 am.

I-75

• Oakland – NB/SB I-75, Coolidge to M-59, one lane closed, three open, Saturday 6 am-6 pm.
• Oakland - SB I-75 ramp to 12 Mile, ramp closed intermittently, overnight Monday - Friday, 9 pm-5 am.
• Oakland – 12 Mile ramps to NB/SB 75, ramp closed intermittently, overnight, Monday - Friday 9 pm- 5 am.
• Oakland – EB/WB I-75 Business Loop, Opdyke to I-75, one lane closed, two open, Saturday 6 am-6 pm.
• Wayne - NB I-75 ramp to M-3, ramp closed, Monday 6am- Monday 10/16.
• Wayne - NB I-75 at Russell, one lane closed, two open, Monday 6 am- Monday 10/16.
• Wayne –Goddard under I-75, one lane open only, flagger directing, Monday 9 am-3 pm.
• Wayne – NB/SB I-75 service drive at Clark, lane closure Monday-Friday 9 am-3pm.

I-94

• Wayne - WB I-94, Beaubien to second, right lane closed, two open, Monday-Thursday, 9 am-3pm.

I-96

• Oakland – EB/WB 96, Novi to Haggerty, one lane open, two closed, overnights, Sunday-Friday 9 pm-5 am.
• Oakland – EB/WB 96, Novi to Haggerty, one lane open, Friday 11 pm-Sunday 6 am.
• Oakland – EB/WB 96, Novi to Haggerty, one lane open, Friday 9 pm-Sunday 6 am.
• Wayne - WB I-96 ramp to Joy, ramp closed intermittently, Monday-Friday 3 pm.

M-1: (Woodward)

• Oakland - SB M-1,Quarton to 14 Mile, 1 left lane open, two closed, Friday 9 pm-Monday 6 am.
• Oakland – EB/WB 9 Mile at Woodward, 9 MILE CLOSED, Friday 7 am- Monday 8 am, event.
• Wayne - SB M-1 at I-75 service drive, one left lane open, Saturday 2 am-7am.

• Wayne - SB M-10 at Chicago, lane closure intermittently, Monday 9 am-Friday 3 pm.

• Wayne – 8 Mile over I-75, westbound closed, service drive open, Monday 9am-Monday Oct. 23.

• Macomb – NB/SB M-3, 8 Mile to 11 Mile, one lane open, Friday 9 pm-Sunday 11 am.

• Oakland - EB 59 ramp to Squirrel, ramp closed overnight, Thursday 9 pm- Friday 5 am; Friday 9 pm- Monday 5 am.
• Oakland – Squirrel ramps to WB 59, ramps closed overnight, Thursday 9 pm -Friday 5 am; Friday 9pm-Mon 5am.
