ROYAL OAK, MI — Are you a Royal Oak resident interested in learning how to make your own rain garden? Maybe you just want to learn to avoid or use the best landscaping practices to prevent flooding in your yard.
The city has a free seminar coming up that will go over these details and other tips on rain garden installation.
The Residential Rain Gardens Presentation will take place at 7 p.m. March 28 at the Royal Oak Senior Center in room No. 3. It will cover the basics of rain gardens as a stormwater management technique. Tips on placement, sizing, plant choices, lessons learned, and success stories will be shared, too.
