Liquor Control Committee Delays Vote on Cantina Diablo's Rooftop Addition

Cantina Diablo's rooftop delayed

The Liquor Control Committee delayed a vote on a recommendation for a rooftop addition to Cantina Diablo's. Committee member Charles Semchena said due to confusion over how much of the second floor would be outdoor or indoor space, among other issues, the committee will wait for staff to make recommendations. The decision will be delayed to next month.

Pizzeria Biga plans change

The committee approved slight adjustments to the plans of operation for the unfinished 711 S. Main St. restaurant. A representative of Pizzeria Biga said it intends to open before the Thanksgiving holiday. Owner 711 Bistro LLC was approved for a Bistro-Redevelopment License in February 2010.

Duggan's to open earlier

The committee approved adjustments to the plans of operations of  so the restaurant can open at 10 a.m. instead of 11 a.m., in addition to opening even earlier on holidays such as St. Patrick's Day and the week of the Woodward Dream Cruise.
