A man jumped from a freeway overpass on Monday, according to police.
The man was observed at Main Street and Interstate 696 setting down a backpack and jumping over the railing. The man was alive but unresponsive, according to police reports.
He was transported to Beaumont Hospital and was pronounced dead on arrival, according to police.
