'Molly's Mile' Celebrates Extraordinary Teaching

The Addams Elementary community joined together Monday to celebrate teacher Molly Brinker as the Oakland County Teacher of the Year.

With the temperature near 90 degrees, students, teachers and parents wore T-shirts that read "Celebrating Extraordinary Teaching" while runnning Molly's Mile — a 1-mile race around the school yard. 

All runners received ribbons and popsicles! A pasta picnic followed.
