Package Thief Sentenced To Time In The Oakland County Jail
The crime was captured on a neighbor's video camera.

ROYAL OAK, MI — A Southfield man who swiped a package off of a front porch in Royal Oak will be spending time in the Oakland County Jail, according to a press release. The theft was caught on a neighbor's motion sensing camera.
24-year-old Olin Thurman was arraigned on Dec. 21 in 44th District Court where he pled guilty to Larceny under $200.00 for the Dec. 5 package theft at a home in the 2400 block of E. Hudson. Thurman was sentenced to 60 days in the Oakland County Jail.

Royal Oak Police say that Thurman is currently on parole for a felony Armed Robbery conviction and misdemeanor convictions for Retail Fraud and Possession of Marijuana.
