Police Searching For Missing Royal Oak Man

A 51-year-old Royal Oak man went missing Tuesday afternoon.

ROYAL OAK, MI — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a 51-year-old Royal Oak man. Djon Gojcevic was reported missing on Tuesday to the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office. He was last seen at Mt. Clemens party store located at 233 N. Groesbeck Highway at approximately 4:15 p.m.

Gojcevic was dropped off at work at 4 p.m. in Mt. Clemens. He has no vehicle or cell phone, according to Macomb County Sheriff’s Deputy Renee Yax. There were no signs of foul play in his disappearance, she said.

“He has done this in the past,” Yax added, “and he has returned home.”

While Gojcevic lives in Royal Oak, he is known to frequent family members’ homes in Sterling Heights, Yax said. None of his family has heard from him, however.

Gojcevic was last seen wearing a long sleeve red Nike shirt, gray sweat pants that have two gray stripes running down both sides of the legs, and black shoes. He is described as being 6-feet tall, weighing about 245 pounds, with green eyes and brown hair.
