ROYAL OAK, MI — A popular dinosaur attraction is returning to the Detroit Zoo this summer for the first time in two years.
Dinosauria, which features more than 25 lifelike dinosaurs, will run at the Detroit Zoo from May 25 to Sept. 8. Guests will walk along a winding trail throughout the zoo to see the animatronic dinosaurs, which include a Brachiosaurus and T-Rex.
There will also be multiple hands-on fossil dig sites, dinosaur-themed gifts, merchandise and more.

"Dinosauria is roaring back for the first time since 2022, and we couldn’t be more excited," Senior Manager of Guest Experience Design Emily O’Hara said. "Come see dinos from different eras show off their infamous traits as they face off along the trail. With fun for the whole family, Dinosauria is a can’t-miss addition to your next Detroit Zoo visit."
Dinosauria will be available during regular zoo hours and costs $6 per person in addition to zoo admission. Those with a Detroit Zoo membership can get a Dino Pass for $45, which offers unlimited admission to Dinosauria. That price will increase to $60 on June 1.
