Royal Oak Home Invasion Suspects Arraigned
Three defendants, including the victims' granddaughter, were arrested after two of them robbed a Royal Oak couple, according to police.
On Thursday, three defendants in the Feb. 27 home invasion robbery of an elderly Royal Oak couple were arraigned in 44th district court. One of the trio, the driver who did not enter the home, was later shown to be the victims’ 20-year-old granddaughter, Rochester Hills resident Robin Dumoulin.
The two men arrested with Dumoulin, 19-year-old Joshua Martin and 17-year-old Jamall Mobley, both of Detroit, were arraigned with her before Magistrate Donald Chisholm March 1. During the robbery, the two men forced their way into the victims’ home on the 2300 block of Elmhurst at gunpoint, knocking the male victim to the floor and causing a minor injury.
Dumoulin, Martin, and Mobley are each charged with two counts of armed robbery, a
felony for which each might face life in prison. They were also charged with one count of 1st
degree home invasion, a 20-year felony, and three counts of felony firearm – pneumatic gun, a 2-year felony.

None of the three had criminal histories. Dumoulin’s bond was set at $400,000 cash, Martin’s was set at$300,000 cash, and Mobley’s was set at $250,000 cash. The trio’s next court appearance is March 9 before Judge Derek Meinecke in the 44th District Court.
