Royal Oak Police Blotter Update: Breaking And Entering, Larceny

The Royal Oak Police Department released its weekly update, detailing crimes they've investigated in the area. For the week of Feb. 22 to March 1, there were 37 arrests total, and police received calls for breaking and entering, larceny and malicious destruction of property.

Breaking and Entering

4000 block of Tonowanda Ave. Sometime between 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 24 and 5 a.m. Feb. 25, an unknown suspect(s) cut a window screen, entering a home through the window and stealing cash from a home office.

Larceny

25352 Woodward Ave. (LA Fitness), On Feb. 26 between 6 p.m. and 7:28 p.m., a gym member’s gym bag containing an iPhone, wallet with identification, credit cards, and cash was stolen from a locker

25352 Woodward Ave. (LA Fitness), On Feb. 27 between 5:15 p.m. and 6:45 p.m., someone stole a member’s gym bag containing a Google phone and car keys.

1000 block of Lloyd Ave., On Feb 27 at 1:29 p.m. an unknown suspect stole a package from a home’s front porch.

Malicious Destruction of Property

1000 Irving Ave., Between 9 p.m. on Feb. 21 and 9 a.m. on Feb. 22, an unknown suspect(s) damaged the drivers window of a 2009 Chevrolet.

900 N. Wilson Ave., On Feb. 24 between midnight and 4 p.m., an unknown suspect(s) scratched the rear gate of a 2012 Honda.
