ROYAL OAK, MI — Looking to interact more with your local law enforcement officials? Royal Oak is hosting a Cops & Doughnuts event at 6:30 p.m. March 12 at the Churchill Community Education Center. The event gives residents a chance to discuss crime trends, safe neighborhood initiatives and input from locals.

State Rep. Jim Ellison will provide free doughnuts for attendees.

In preparation for the event, the Royal Oak Crime Prevention Council is taking residents’ questions about crime and safety in the city.

Residents can submit questions to: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TRFVKLY and panel of personnel from both the police department and 44th District Court will use the questions to develop a series of topics to discuss at the event.
