Royal Oak Police Seek Suspects in Possible Home Invasion
Two people wanted in connection with the alleged crime.

The Royal Police Department is investigating a possible home invasion that occurred Wednesday in the 400 block of N. Gainsborough.
Police say a woman reported a man knocked on her door and said he needed to talk to her about trimming a tree and repairing her fence. After talking to the man in her backyard for several minutes, the resident said the man abruptly ended the conversation and told her he would be back the next day, according to police.
The following morning the woman discovered her purse and miscellaneous jewelry had been stolen and called the police.

Police say a neighbor walking down the victim’s driveway during the same timeframe observed two people.
"It appears the suspect distracted the victim while a second suspect entered the residence and stole the victim’s property," states the police report.

Royal Oak police have asked the public for help in seeking two suspects. They are described as:
- A white male, 5-foot-4, in his mid-30s, 140 pounds, black straight hair, a full beard with a foreign accent. The victim also indicated he appeared to have a crippled right arm.
- A white female, thin, in her 20s
The pair's vehicle is described as white, early 2000, bearing a white license plate with a three-inch wide black stripe across the top. The vehicle was parked across from the woman's house and left the area northbound on Gainsborough.
