Royal Oak Rolls Out New Web Address
Residents can get information on city happenings at www.romi.gov.
The city of Royal Oak has a new domain - www.romi.gov - as the city moves to modernize its branding and communications.
The new website breaks the city away from a clunky, er, former web address of "www.ci.royal-oak.mi.us."
New business cards are on the way for city officials and staff with new email addresses, which reflect the domain change, and the city's new logo and tagline: "Life Now Playing," according to Stewart Meek, assistant to the City Manager.
"Any email sent to the old email addresses will be forwarded," Meek said.
