Royal Oak Runners Take on Free Press Marathon
Here are the results of how Royal Oak residents did in Sunday's Free Press/Talmar Bank Marathon.
Hundreds of Royal Oakers finished the Free Press/Talmer Bank marathon and half-marathons early Sunday.
Among the top finishers were Dan Goerlich, 32, who finished in 91st place among 4,227 marathoners with a chip time of 3:08:56 and Erica D'Angelo, 25, whose 3:24:23 earned her 23rd place in the women's race and a seventh-place finish in her division.
Also among the marathon runners was Royal Oak School High School teacher Dave Barnett, 39, who finished in 3:02:57.
