Thief Reportedly Smashes SUV Window And Steals Purse Containing $400: Royal Oak Weekly Police Report

ROYAL OAK, MI — A woman reportedly returned to her 2014 GMC in the parking lot of Lindell Ice Arena at 1403 Lexington Blvd. only to discover a thief had reportedly smashed the front passenger window and swiped her purse containing credit cards and around $400 in cash, according to a police report. The theft happened on Jan. 21 between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. and the suspect remains on the loose.

1403 Lexington Blvd., (Lindell Ice Arena): 1-20-17, 10:10 p.m. – 11:35 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) removed his wallet from a locker and stole $39.00 in cash.

1403 Lexington Blvd., (Lindell Ice Arena): 1-20-17, 10:05 p.m. – 11:45 p.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) stole $35.00 cash and a Casio watch from his unattended coat.

3100 block of N. Blair Ave. 1-8-17, 6:28 p.m.: Complainant discovered an unknown suspect(s) stole 2 necklaces and 2 rings from her residence after having contractors at her home.

4949 Coolidge Hwy. (Beaumont Medical) 1-24-17- 1-25-17, 1:00 p.m. – 5:45 a.m.: Complainant reported an unknown suspect(s) stole a ring from a container in her office.
