Adrian Festival Puts Out Call For Artists
Art-A-Licous will take place Sept. 16-17.

ADRIAN — The Lenawee Council for the Visual Arts is seeking artists for the fifth annual Art-A-Licious Art Fair – a weekend festival that brings art, entertainment, and delicious food to the streets of downtown Adrian. Art-A-Licous will take place Sept. 16-17.
What is Art-A-Licious? First of all, it’s an art festival that brings more than 60 artists to historic downtown Adrian to show and sell their work. But more than that, it’s a celebration of heritage and community. Friday night, sample the diverse cuisine of Lenawee County’s restaurants. Saturday night, treat yourself to a Farm-to-Table dinner prepared with local ingredients by the students in a local careers in hospitality program. And throughout the weekend, in addition to professional artists and performers, the talents of local high school and college students will be on display.
Art fair hours are 4-8 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on Saturday. All spaces are 10-feet-by-10-feet with a variety of tent options, including shared, whole, and self-provided tents. For the first time this year the art fair will have a juried acceptance for non-LCVA members with the jury deadline being July 16.
