Have Dinner With Doc at St. Joe's in Saline

Often the only time a patient has with their doctor is in the doctor’s office, discussing a specific ailment or concern. Rarely does a patient get to sit down – at dinner no less! – and ask every day questions. A popular new event, St. Joseph Mercy Saline’s “Dinner with a Doc” speaker series will feature a discussion about medications.

Board certified internal medicine and pediatric physician, Therese Benevich, MD, from St. Joseph Mercy Saline Adult & Pediatric Medicine will discuss common medications doctors may prescribe, how they work and why it is important for patients to be well informed and ask questions about medications. A question and answer session with Dr. Benevich and a pharmacist will follow the presentation

This free event will be held Sept. 26 from 6-8 p.m. in the Community Health Pavilion at St. Joseph Mercy Saline. (400 W. Russell Road, Saline).

The first two Dinner with the Doc events were huge successes, with nearly 50 people attending each free dinner and discussion.

Dinner will be served; and registration is required: log onto stjoeshealth.org and click “classes and events” or call 1-888-231-2211 to register.
