Dils, Turnage Catch Eye of Basketball Scout

Dils and Turnage were named "breakout performers" at a recent basketball tournament.

Saline sophomore Reece Dils and Milan sophomore CJ Turnage were named on Bell's Mlive high school hoops blog as two of the 10 breakout performers from the Great Lakes Classic.

He did a good job finding the gaps and creating against the zone. Has the skills and hoops IQ to run the point. Reminds me of Korey VanDussen at the same age, when he was asked to score more than run the point, but with a better-looking shot.

Turner, the 6'4 sophomore, played for All Michigan. Bell said Turnage was similar to Davis Hoskins.

For a small town, Milan has had some players and Turnage is a legit one. He has the physical advantages of both strength and wingspan. He finishes over the rim and blocks shots on the other. Not sure of his position, but he plays hard and produces.
