Ele’s Place, a healing center for grieving children, is partnering with Saline High School to promote awareness of and support for grieving children and teens. Tackle Children's Grief is a week-long awareness campaign in the school, which will culminate with activities at the football game from 7-10 p.m., Friday, Sept. 23.
Ele’s Place will host an information booth at the game with brochures, free t-shirts and other promotional items.
All attendees are encouraged to wear white t-shirts for a “white out” at the game, in support of grieving children and teens. There will also be a balloon launch to honor grieving families, which will be led by the marching band director during half-time.
