Raising Money for the Ronald McDonald House

The Saline McDonald's Restaurant is hoping to raise $50,000 in pennies for the Ronald McDonald House of Ann Arbor during the 5 Million Penny Roof-Sit Challenge, taking place Wednesday-Friday. Bubba from W4 Country will host a show from the McDonald's roof this morning and stay up there all day. Last year's event in Milan raised $21,000. Saline Alternative High School students are also asking people to donate pennies at the school or at the restaurant. The mission of the Ronald McDonald House of Ann Arbor is to provide a home away from home for the families of ill or injured children at nearby hospitals.

Tracking the Hornets

It was a victorious day for Saline Athletics. The on their conference foes from Adrian, 8-0. The varsity in front of an energetic crowd. The Saline cross country teams raced in their first SEC Jamborees. The placing their top five before any other team placed two. The boys weren't in top form, but by six points.

Today's Good Morning Saline Greeting was given by Jack Ceo. Today is Ceo's last day as Deputy Chief of the Saline Police Department. An open house was held to celebrate his career and retirement at city hall Tuesday.
