Summerfest taking over parking lot beside Little Caeser’s Friday and Saturday, but you didn’t expect the farmers to take the day off, did you? The Saline Farmers Market will relocate to Parking Lot 2, on East Henry Street, just east of South Ann Arbor Street. The market is open an extra hour for Summerfest, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Fiddlers ReStrung Play in Milan Tonight

The Fiddlers ReStrung play the Concert in the Park series in downtown Milan tonight. The free concert begins at 7 p.m. and is followed by the showing of the movie Rio.
Saline is on the Run Again for Summerfest
If you hadn’t noticed, people in this town run 5Ks at the drop of a hat. The Summerfest 5K Run/Walk takes place Saturday. It starts at 8:30 a.m. at Saline City Hall. Race packets can be picked up from 6:40-9 p.m. Friday at at the Saline Summerfest Race Table, located at South Ann Arbor and Henry streets. Race day registration is at city hall from 7-8:15 a.m. The fee is $25 on race day. The event is sponsored by Probility Physical Therapy. Saline Woman Rows at 2011 Senior World Championship Trials
Saline’s Christina Meyer and her teammate Shannan Kaplan are will row Thursday in the women’s pair at the 2011 Senior World Championship Trials in West Windsor, N.J. Rowers are battling for a chance to compete the the 2011 World Rowing Championships in Bled, Slovenia, according to Row2K.com.
