Foundation Launches Campaign to Aid Literacy

The Foundation for Saline Area Schools will host an open house Sept. 28 to share the fruits of recent grants, and starting garnering support for this year's strategic grant campaign. The foundation hopes raise $100,000 equip 110 Saline Area Schools classrooms with "dynamic classroom libraries." The campaign is in support of the district's goal of teaching balanced literacy in classrooms.
