Pittsfield Township will conduct a flag raising ceremony to mark the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The ceremony takes place at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at the township administrative building, located at 6201 W. Michigan Ave. The public may enter the parking area from either Michigan Avenue or Platt Road.

Minor Bus Crash
There were no injuries in a Wednesday morning bus crash involving a Saline Area Schools bus and a van. The bus was taking students to Pleasant Ridge Elementary when it was struck by the van that had gone through a red light at Michigan Avenue and Industrial Street. .
Today's Good Morning Saline greeting was given by artist Rick Detroyer, who is installing the sculpture on North Ann Arbor Street in downtown Saline. The art should be installed in time for the Harvest of the Arts festival.
