Hornets bowl over Monroe

Saline's boys' bowling team handed Monroe its first loss of the season.

Nick Tillman bowled a 208 and 206 and Nick Kaster rolled a 224 as Saline downed Monroe at Colonial Lanes Tuesday.

It was Monroe’s first loss of the season.

Neeko Robison also rolled a solid 204 and Brandon Martin bowled a 201. Nick Summers bowled a 192.

In girls’ bowling action, Monroe knocked down Saline, 24-6.

Samantha Szuminski cracked the 200 barrier and finished with a 215 to lead Saline. Sydney Ohl (169) and Emily DeCook (161) also had strong games.

The bowling teams are in action against Adrian High School at Monroe Wednesday.
