Hornets Capture SEC Red Title, Qualify 14 for State Meet
Saline should be well-positioned to defend its state title in two weeks.
The Saline Hornets cruised past their opponents at the SEC Red Division at Skyline Saturday.
The Hornets won all three relay events
David Boland won two events and Adam Whitener and Mike Fisher each won an event as Saline swam past their rivals from Pioneer and Huron to win sole ownership of the division title.

Not only did the Hornets win the division, they sent 14 members of the team to the MHSAA state meet, which begins a week from Friday. The Hornets can add a couple more members to the Saline contingent with a strong performance at Friday’s regional diving tournament at Ann Arbor Huron.
