Hornets fall 10-6 in JV Water Polo

Katie Saxton and Sydney Hoffman each tallied twice for the Hornets.

Saline fell 10-6 to Mason in junior varsity girls' water polo Wednesday night at Saline High School. 

The Hornets were down 6-0 before coming to life in the third period. But by then, the hole was too deep.

Daline got on the board with goals from Sydney Hoffman and and Lauren Cavanaugh to make it 6-2. After a Mason Bulldog goal, Katie Saxton and Hoffman to make it 7-4.

But the Bulldogs got the start the Hornets needed in the fourth, putting up three consecutive goals to make it 10-4. Emily McCullough and Saxton scored for Saline to account for the final two goals.
