Hornets Water Polo Team Opens With 11-8 Win Over Seaholm
Senior Jamie Fisher led the Saline attack with six goals.

BIRMINGHAM — Senior Jamie Fisher scored six goals as Saline sunk Seaholm 11-8 on opening night. Junior Lucas Allen and senior Tom Walls each scored twice. Michael Bundas and Louie Remenapp each tallied once for Saline.
“For the first game of the year, it was a great success,” said coach Andrew Zimmer. “We’ve spent very little time on water polo in practice, with most of our work being conditioning. To win the first game of the year against a solid team goes a long way to set the tone from the beginning that all the hard work we’ve done and will do will pay off in the end.”
Zimmer credited his team’s work ethic for its opening night success.
