Lady Hornets Dominant in First Dual Meet

Saline won 15 of 17 events to defeat Bedford

The Lady Hornets took it outside for the first time of the 2011 track and field season, beating the Kicking Mules 114-23.

Saline won 15 of 17 events and swept the top three places in four different events.

*It was a good way to start the outdoor season. We had several good performances considering it is mid-April, it was the first meet, and we are just coming off spring break,” said coach Michael Smith. “After practicing for a month, the team was looking forward to actually competing. Much of the meet was decided simply by numbers. Our team is much larger than Bedford's, and that makes a huge difference in a dual track meet.”
