Despite leaving a half dozen of their fastest runners at home, the Lady Hornets put in a solid showing at the Early Bird Cross Country Invitational held at Huron Meadows Metropark Thursday.
Sophomore Gloria Park finished fourth, completing the 5K race in 19:53.07.
That time was good enough to qualify her to run with the "A Team" at the Bath Invitational Saturday.
