Man Flees Pittsfield Police After Attempting to Steal Coin Machine from Cinema
The following arrest information was supplied by the Pittsfield Police Department Records. It does not indicate a conviction.

Pittsfield Township Police Department received a call from the cleaning crew at Rave Cinemas, 4100 Carpenter Rd., that a vehicle had backed through a window and a suspect was trying to steal a coin machine near the video games.
A police officer was dispatched and saw a vehicle with its headlights off, driving on the grass and curb attempting to get on to Carpenter Road. The officer could not stop the late 1990s or early 2000s red Chevy Camaro or Chrysler Sebring which had an obscured license plate. The vehicle continued south on Carpenter, turning into Morgan Road and then Michigan Avenue before it was last seen getting on to eastbound I-94.
The driver was described as a 6-foot tall, 250-280 pound white male. He was last seen wearing a mask, gloves and work overalls. Damage to the building was a broken window. Anyone with information pertaining to the case is asked to call the Pittsfield Township Police Department at 734-822-4951.

• On May 23, Pittsfield Township Park Rangers reported someone spraypainted a storage shed on the 5400 block of Crane Road.
• There were two reports of catalytic converters being stolen from vehicles May 23. Was was taken from a Chevy Cavalier on the 4600 block of Pitchpine Ln. and the other from a Grand Am on the 4700 block of Gatewood Blvd.

There were 223 calls for service from May 23-29, making 5,280 for the year.
Fire report
On May 25, Pittsfield Firefighters reported to Ann Arbor Airport for a medical emergency. A flight instructor had stepped into a running airplane propeller and was critically injured. Fire crews along with Huron Valley Ambulance treated and transported the patient to the University of Michigan Hospital
