Sheets Sisters, Hanna Win at SEC Red Tournament
Hanna captured the first flight of the singles tournament while Kaitlin and Margaret Sheets won the second flight in the doubles tournament.
The Saline Hornets were the top team in two flights at Tuesday's SEC Red Division girls' tennis tournament at Ann Arbor Pioneer.
Sophomore Mary Hanna won the first flight in the singles division with a convincing 6-0 and 6-1 victory over her opponent from Pioneer.
In doubles play, senior Kaitlin Sheets and her sister Margaret, a sophomore, won 6-1 and 7-5 to win the second flight.

It was a sweet win for the Sheets sisters, who were teamed together by coaches early this season.
"It was a big win because we're rivals," said Kaitlin.

"They beat us earlier this season, so we really wanted to beat them," added Margaret.
The pair have enjoyed playing together this season.
"We make bad shots and we just move on," said Kaitlin, describing the strength of the duo. "We keep each other confident."
Years of sisterhood also gives them another advantage.
"We know how to communicate. We communicated well today," Margaret said.
In other action from the SEC Red singles tournament, Jennifer Ho lost 6-4 and 6-4 in flight two. Shanna Cooper lost 6-2 and 6-4 in the third flight finals.
In the doubles tournament, Hailey Breedveld and Heather bought lost 6-1, 4-6 and 6-4 to an Arbor Pioneer team.
In the fourth flight, Lauren Rasmussen and Julia Prisby lost 6-1 and 6-1 to a team from Pioneer.
