Storms Leave Saline Area Residents Without Power
More than 500 DTE customers are without power after Wednesday's storms.

More than 600 DTE customers in the Saline area were still without power at 11 p.m. Wednesday night. According to the DTE website's outage map, between 500 and 1,500 customers south of Michigan Avenue and, for the most part, west of the Saline River, were without power. North of town, in a pocket surrounding Stonebridge Golf Club, between 100 and 500 customers were without power.
A call to DTE has not yet been returned.
Wednesday evening storms brought high winds, hail and a steady downpour.

The forecast for Thursday calls for rain throughout the day, which means the Saline Music Series concert scheduled for downtown will likely be moved to for the third consecutive week. Wherever the concert is, – described as a “Carrie Underwood-meets-Johnny Cash-by-way-of-Skynard trip” – performs 7 p.m.
