Tournament Time: Hornet Hockey Team Hopes For Third Win over Bedford

The Saline Hornets closed their season Saturday with a 9-1 win over Dearborn Unified. James Olson scored a hat trick and had three assists. Trevor Carey scored two goals and an assist. DJ Aben set up five goals for the Hornets. Captain Rocco Corrunker added a goal and two assists.

Saline starts its post season at 5 p.m. Monday at Chelsea’s Arctic Coliseum. The Hornets open against Bedford. Expect a close game. The Hornets beat the Kicking Mules 7-6 and 4-3 in the two previous games this season.

Saline plays in MHSAA Division 2 Region 11.
