VIDEOSTORY: Artists Jazz It Up at The Stone Arch and Events

It's all about jazz this month at T in Saline.

This month's art exhibit is called Jazz it Up. The exhibit features the work abstract acrylic painter Cathy Marshall, multimedia and abstract painter Tom Rosenbaum and oil painter Connie Wiedner. The show opened Wednesday and a reception was held Friday evening. The exhibit continues until April 9.

This Thursday, the Music Under the Arch features the Marcus and Joan Jazz Ensemble. Marcus is a renowned trumpet player known for his longtime association with Ray Charles, Charles Mingus, Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra. The band takes the stage at 8 p.m.

Opening are Saline High School graduate and singer songwriter Jane Collins and Saline High School senior and talent show winner Evan Pazkowski.
