VIDEOSTORY: Saline Middle School Showcases Engineering Program

On Monday, l hosted a Project Lead the Way Open House. Project Lead the way teaches Saline seventh graders in the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, using engaging, hands-on curriculum. The program is free but does require an investment in computer and technological equipment. The school district plans to expand the program into eighth grade next fall. To aid the effort, the Foundation for Saline Area Schools is raising $65,000. So far, the foundation has raised $45,000. To contribute, click here.
