  • September 15, 2021:  'Trash Talk Tour' Seeks To Inspire Zero Waste Culture In Ann Arbor

When it comes to environmental protection and sustainability, getting a better handle on America’s “throw away culture" is important. That's the motivation behind the upcoming "Trash Talk" tour in Ann Arbor. WEMU’s David Fair checked in with Dan Ezekiel from the Washtenaw Zero Waste Coalition to learn more about the tour, what it offers those who participate, and why this is expected to become an annual event.  For questions or ideas for future show topics, please contact Mary Mathias Lapp.

  • Trash Talk Tour is a self-guided event to see what happens to your trash, recyclables, and compost after you “throw it away.”  Find out more at TrashTalkTour.org

Tune in to 89.1FM WEMU to hear the shows on air, or listen to archived shows on our Issues of the Environment page.
