Whiz Kid: Nick Tillman

Accomplishments: Nick qualified for the MHSAA Division 1 state bowling tournament, where he finished 54th of 60 bowlers. He was 15th after two games but struggled to find his shot later in the tournament. Nick helped his Hornets capture the SEC Red Division. A four-year member of the Saline bowling team, he carried an average of 203 as a senior. His other interests include video gaming, paintball and a board game called Warhammer 40K. He plans to attend Saginaw Valley State University in the fall and intends to try out for the bowling team. 

Key to Awesomeness: Nick's calm demeanor and his refusal to let his emotions get the best of him are a strength in the bowling alley. Emotional displays may fire a team up in a contact sport, but they usually work against bowlers. Nick also listens to the coaches' suggstions at practices and during matches.
