football player Connor Hinebaugh and football players Brandon Bartneck and Michael Roswadowski were named to the 2010 Academic All-State First Team by Michigan High School Football Coaches Association.
According to the MHSFCA newsletter, 24 players from around the state were named to the Academic All-State First Team.
The football teams at both Eisenhower and Utica also were honored as 2010 Academic All-State teams.

Utica is coached by Tony Smith, and Eisenhower is coached by Bob Lantzy. Both teams made the state playoffs in the fall.
