"The Apple Blossom Gala is great for the whole family since it has three races to choose from," said coordinator Tracey Moro. "Kids love the Half Mile Fun Run and it gets them introduced to the idea of running a race. The 9K gives experienced runners a chance to break away from the traditional 5K without jumping all the way to a half marathon."
Runners will gather at the Glacier Club Golf Course in Washington Township for parking and last-minute registration before being bussed to the starting line at Roberts Elementary in Shelby Township. All will finish at the Glacier Club.Â
