Eisenhower Show Choir in UCS chosen as top state ensemble
Show Choir was also chosen as the group that will represent the east site at the MSVMA All-State Festival in May.

The Eisenhower Show Choir was chosen as the top ensemble from the Michigan School Vocal Association (MSVMA) Musical Theatre Solo & Ensemble Festival on Saturday, November 9.
The group received a perfect score for their performance of "Something About This Night" from Finding Neverland and "Louder Than Words" from tick...tick...BOOM!
Director Julia Holt honored the students for their dedication.

"This group supports each other on and off the stage and they make the work seem like fun,” she said. “I can't wait to see how they grow throughout this year!"
Adjudicator Greg Cleveland praised their musicality and said that he almost never sees a group with 100% of the students completely engaged and in character.

He wrote "I can't take my eyes off you!" on the adjudication sheet and told the group that he barely wrote anything down because he was so drawn in to their performance.
At the end of the festival, the Show Choir was chosen as the group that will represent the east site at the MSVMA All-State Festival in May.
The group will sing at the Gala Concert at 7:00pm on Thursday, May 8 at Fairchild Theatre on the campus of Michigan State University.
