Macomb Launches New Web Development Tool, Shelby Township Highlighted

Officials unveiled a new web tool Wednesday that will allow communities and developers to promote industrial development properties throughout Macomb County.

The Prime Properties feature on the www.macombbusiness.com highlights development sites and provides links to municipal and private-sector websites with information about various properties.

Shelby Township Planning Director Glenn Wynn said at a press conference Wednesday that the site is, "Expanding our reach and is doing it at a low cost."

The first development site featured on the website is Cherry Creek Corporate Park in Shelby Township.

Eugene D'Agostini, owner of the park, complimented the site and partnership Wednesday, and announced that JVIS manufacturing will be occupying a new 100,000-square-foot building in the industrial park. When the building is complete in about a year, the company expects to create about 75 jobs, officials said.
