MACOMB COUNTY, MI — A popular burger chain opened a new metro Detroit location Tuesday.
Ford’s Garage, best known for its burgers and craft beer, opened a new restaurant at 12575 Hall Road in Utica. The restaurant is owned by Ford’s Garage President Billy Downs, a franchisee since 2017.
"We’re proud to open our third location to meet the demand for a Ford’s Garage in Macomb County," Downs said. "There’s strong local loyalty to the Ford Motor Company brand. Guests come for the fun atmosphere, stay for the food and hospitality and keep coming back for that unbeatable combo."

Fan-favorites include the Burgers of Fame, which is inspired by local heroes and community icons.

"One of my favorite burgers is the American Standard," said Downs. "It’s everything you want in a classic burger: premium beef, American cheese, crisp lettuce, tomato, red onion and pickle planks on a brioche bun."
Appetizers include Edsel’s Soft Pretzels, Famous Firestone Shrimp and the Jumbo Piston Onion Rings.
Guests can also enjoy classic comfort foods, such as Mama Ford’s homemade meatloaf and fish and chips, along with lighter fare like fresh salads, grilled chicken and various seafood options.
For a sweet way to end the meal, the restaurant offers several dessert standouts, including old-fashioned milkshakes, a Brookie Sundae and the Caramel Apple Cookie Skillet.
There will be a wide range of beers, with a special focus on local brews, along with several wine, cocktail and non-alcoholic options.
The restaurant is known for its car-themed decor, as Ford's Garage is the only restaurant brand licensed to use the iconic Ford Motor Company logo and memorabilia.
Guests are immersed in classic Americana with vintage vehicles, car-part fixtures and charming details like servers in mechanic shirts and shop towels for napkins. There is a Model A car suspended above the bar and a roaring engine ambiance to complete the experience.
The nearly 8,000 square foot restaurant seats 252 guests and offers carry-out and delivery through EZ Cater, DoorDash and Uber Eats.
The restaurant is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The Utica spot is the third Michigan location, after Dearborn and Novi.
"I started this journey with Ford’s Garage because it offered a rare opportunity to team up with an iconic brand and a one-of-a-kind concept," said Downs. "I’m passionate about hospitality and love helping create unforgettable dining experiences."
