The Metropolitan Cafe Announces Temporary Closure
The Shelby Township restaurant is expected to reopen early next week, according to its Facebook page.
Weekend regulars at "The Metro" will have to make other plans this St. Patrick's Day as the Shelby Township restaurant has announced its temporary closure.
The following message was posted on The Metropolitan Cafe Facebook page Friday:
"Friends & patrons of The Metro....we apologize for our temporary shut down but we will resume normal business hours early next week. Have a happy & safe St. Patrick's Day!!"

The same post suggested Tuesday would be the tentative reopening date.
Located at 52969 Van Dyke, on the corner of 24 Mile Road, The Metro serves c. The restaurant opened in May 2010.
