Woman Found Dead In Macomb Co. After Suspicious 911 Hangup: Police

SHELBY TOWNSHIP, MI — A woman was found dead inside a Macomb County home Saturday after a 911 caller hung up on a dispatcher, according to police.

Officers went to the Lakeside Park Apartments on Lakeside Park Drive in Shelby Township at 6:32 a.m. Saturday for a "suspicious circumstance" after someone called 911 and abruptly hung up, according to police.

Once inside the home, officers found the woman's body, according to police.

Investigators believe the woman was murdered and are investigating the incident as a homicide.

One person has been arrested in connection with the incident, according to police.

Police said there is no danger to the public.
