6-Car Crash, Fuel Spill Closes I-94 At 12 Mile Road In Roseville: MSP

Michigan State Police said there were no injuries in the crash.

ROSEVILLE, MI — A Tuesday morning multi-car crash has closed westbound Interstate 94 at 12 Mile Road in Roseville, Michigan State Police said.

State troopers said a semi truck pulling diesel fuel began to loose control and ultimately jackknifed on the freeway, causing a six-car crash. Pictures posted to social media showed a Fedex truck under the semi truck.

Officials said there were no injuries in the crash.

During the crash, the semi truck spilled over 150 gallons of diesel fuel, prompting a hazmat situation, officials said.

The freeway closure means vehicles can re-enter the highway at the 12 Mile Entrance Ramp. The Little Mack Entrance ramp is closed.
