'Argo' Houseguests Talk About 'Whirlwind' Adventure at SCS Parade

Organizers of the St. Clair Shores Memorial Day Parade welcomed two of the houseguests who were featured in the Oscar-winning movie Argo.

Detroit native Mark Lijek, and his wife Cora—who were two of the six Americans who took refuge in the Canadian embassy during the Iranian hostage crisis and were able to escape through an elaborate CIA plan— took part in the parade Sunday and met the community at events at the VFW Bruce Post #1146.
