Why are you seeking elective office?
My goal is to make sure the city government stays focused on improving the most basic city services, such as snow removal, beach cleanup, and lowering the cost of water bills. I also want to ensure our law enforcement personnel have the support they need from the council to keep our city safe. When possible, I would also like to seek ways to phase out burdensome city regulations, such as permit requirements to remodel the interior of a home.
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
I think one of the most important issues remains water quality and the cleanliness of our beaches along Lake St. Clair. We need to work with surrounding municipalities on this and stop entities like Oakland County from dumping massive amounts of sewage into the lake.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I am happy to publicly state that the Founding Fathers of the United States left us with an excellent vision of limited government for our nation. My intent is to follow their vision and their principles if elected to the council.
In addition, I am open about the fact that I am a practicing Catholic and am firmly pro-life and pro-family. I am proud to be endorsed by Michigan Right to Life.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)
