8 People File for St. Clair Shores City Council Seats
Incumbents are among those who filed Tuesday for three contested seats on City Council.
A mix of incumbents, a former council member and newcomers filed Tuesday for the three open seats on City Council.Â
All three current members of city council filed to retain their seats. Other candidates who filed include former councilwoman Erin Stahl and past candidates in the 2011 City Council elections John Burtch and Jack Downey.

The candidates have until 4 p.m. Friday to withdraw for the Aug. 6 primary election. The top six candidates in the primary will be on the Nov. 5 general election ballot.
