City Clerk's Office to Open Saturday
Voters can apply for absentee ballots, and return completed ballots, Saturday to the City Clerk's Office.

The St. Clair Shores Clerk's Office will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday for voters to apply and obtain a ballot for the primary election.

The deadline for acceptance of applications for absentee ballot requests by mail, fax, or email is the Saturday before the election day at 2 p.m., according to the clerk's website.Â
Voters making a late request must appear in person between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on the Monday before the election, according the city's website. Once a voter obtains a ballot, the voter is not allowed leave the building with the ballot and must vote the ballot in person and return it to the Office of the City Clerk.
Polls are open on Tuesday from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m., and absentee ballots must returned to the City Clerk’s office before the close of polls on election day.Â
