Event to Celebrate the Life of Anthony Tiseo Set for Nov. 7
Event at Barrister Gardens slated to honor late councilman and raise funds for his family.

The sudden and unexpected passing of St. Clair Shores City Councilman, Anthony Tiseo, has left the community in a spin.
Members of the city council reflected on the kind-hearted man during its last meeting, and people throughout the community are offering condolences, prayers and support to members of Tiseo’s family.
Tiseo, 46, passed away Oct. 12 after suffering a heart attack at his home.
The first-term councilman was an active part of the community, volunteering with a variety of organizations ranging from St. Isaac Jogues Church to helping establish a skateboard park at Kyte Monroe Park.
Members of the community have organized a benefit for Tiseo’s family beginning at 5 p.m. Nov. 7 at Barrister Gardens on Harper Avenue north of 9 Mile Road.
Admission to the event is $25 and includes a buffet dinner, beer and wine and a wide array of activities including music and dancing, a late-night “Travis” burger, tin-can auction, silent auction, 50/50 raffle and more.
Local radio personality Tom Mazawey is slated to serve as the event’s emcee.
Tickets are available at the door the day of the event.
